Dollhouse

A sci-fi drama about a woman named Echo and other 'Actives' who are controlled by a shadowy group. Each week, they're programmed with specific personalities in order to service the needs of the wealthy, ranging from hostage negotiation to providing comfort to securing the Dollhouse itself. When finished with the jobs, their minds are wiped clean. Yet, for some, memories linger, and for Echo they become a driving force that she shields from her handlers.

That's how TVguide.com says it. Ushally I like T.V. series that are long over with, that I can watch the whole series at my own pace. This one the other hand is just a baby series. It's season 1 was released on DVD, and season 2 is starting on FOX this september. It caught many Buffy and Angel watchers attention when they saw that Eliza Dushku was playing a big part in a new T.V. show. The world has seen her acting skills before, and they where impressed. She's wonderful at the dark, confusing characters, like Faith. Her voice is different than most you hear on screen, and her looks work for her. She's never been too skinny, and not afraid to show skin. The dark makeup as Faith worked for her darker personallity. You can see she's a lighter, more confused character here. A victim, from what I gathered. The thing that really gave this show the POW! factor, was that it brought someone else over from Buffy. None other than the famous, talented, and not-so-beautiful Joss Wedon! He's the writer, creator, director and producer of Dollhouse ans was also the writer, creator, director and producer of Buffy. I haven't seen anything but the previews yet, but I'm going to watch it soon.
